Given enough time, Americans can ruin just about any landscape. Suburbanization is one of the most popular methods.
Suburbanization requires major expenditures on roads. We don’t have those roads here in Stokes County. Our roads are narrow and crooked. Suburbanization also requires population growth and money. We don’t have that either.

David, maybe you could share some contact information for readers who might want to order wine and/or visit the Younts vineyard. It is truly a little piece of heaven tucked away in the hills around Walnut Cove. Thanks for showing it to me!

Very nice picture. One does not find comparable settings in a city or suburbs. Much to be said for being one of five families on a gravel road. There is a small winery near my home. This posts reminds me it is time for a visit.
