American readers will be aware of the &#8220;Mayberry&#8221; angle from the classic American television show with Andy Griffith. Those of you in Europe may not be aware of the cultural complications, which relate to the fact that <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Andy_Griffith\">Andy Griffith the actor was a liberal<\/a> but that most of those who idolize Griffith, and the television show, are make-America-great-again deplorables.<\/p>\n<p>But never mind all that.
