The odds peak around Sept. 10 and remain high through mid-October.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re a weather nerd, as I am, a great source of expert commentary on the weather is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.wunderground.com\/blog\/JeffMasters\/article.html\">Jeff Masters&#8217; blog at Weather Underground<\/a>. During hurricane season, Masters posts pretty much every day.
