That would be difficult. Of course the plot, the situations, and the sentiment are predictable. But who cares if you&#8217;ve got Tom Hanks, a teenagerly robot, a dog, and a post-apocalyptic plot?<\/p>\n<p>This is a classic, family friendly kind of story with a near perfect screenplay. The science, the engineering, and the brilliant (though salvaged) tech are bonuses. The story starts in St. Louis. After that, the irresistible ingredients include a postcard from the Golden Gate Bridge.
