Two kinds of light

On a rainy day this time of year, it’s hard to stay away from the windows. Above, rain is falling, and the windows are wet and a bit foggy. Below, it’s the morning after the rain, and the sun has come out. The woods are rapidly turning green, but the leaves are only about half out. Lily is in her favorite spot.

Hi Chenda… Living here sometimes has a medieval feel. 🙂 My bed is beside those upstairs windows, and I can see the sky all night. It’s timeless, for sure…

Then may be it’s the bed Lily is sitting on, is it ??
There’s a little parallel stream outside, right??
The first pic has those light green colors we had here a couple of weeks ago – so-o-o bewitching 🙂

Hi Frigast… That’s actually a one-lane gravel road, not a stream. Though there is a stream to the right, down a steep bank, in the woods. And there is another stream at the base of the opposite ridge. Three small streams merge into a creek 300 meters down the road, to the right. There is plenty of water here!

Lily usually allows me to use the bed, too.
